Detail Itinerary:-

Day 01 : Kalka/Chandigarh to Shimla

Arrive Kalka/Chanidgarh and transfer by road to Shimla (110 KM / 4 hrs) the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Arrive & check in hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Stay overnight.

Day 02 : Shimla – Sangla ( 230 kms, drive 8 – 9 HRS)

Drive to Sangla through the thick woods of Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda and along side the River Sutlej to arrive in the evening and check in to Luxury Camp. Enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetien border. Dinner with bon fire at Camp.

Day 03 : Sangla - Chitkul (14 kms, 3- 4 HRS one side)

After breakfast, trek to Chitkul. Go through a gradual climb along the Baspa river to reach High altitude pastures of Chitkul at 10,000 – 12000 ft. Surrounded by mountains, the site is a paradise to be in and its peace and tranquility adds to its beauty. Overnight at hotel/camp in Sangla.

Day 04 : Sangla - Kalpa

Visit Kalpa by surface. Go for a date with local folks in the afternoon, just spend the day fishing in Baspa river which is full of Trout or just go hiking in the forest. Just to name a few ways to spend time in this wonderful location. An occasional sight of rare musk dear is also possible for the lucky ones. Dinner with bon fire and overnight at camp.

Day 05 : Kalpa – Shimla

After breakfast say good bye to nature and drive back to shimla, the earstwhile summer capital of india. Enjoy the evening at ridge, a great remembrence of colonial period. Dinner and overnight at hotel. Before returning to shimla, do not miss visiting the local Chini Village and the picturesque view of Kinner Kailash, abode of lord Shiva.

Day 06 : Shimla – Kalka/Chandigarh ( 365 Kms, 8-9hrs)

Drive back to Kalka/Chandigarh. End of our arrangements.
